The first single from her debut album, Don't Smile at Me became a multi-platinum success along with her full-length album titled When We All Go to sleep, What Do We Do?. With her dark, alternate music and her unique style of pop she became the world's most popular artist. She has won numerous Grammy Awards.

  Rena Sherel (born on the 2nd of December, 1968) is an American actress. Her roles include daytime TV, episodic guest performances, and TV-produced films. Sofer won an Daytime Emmy Award 1995 for her performance as Lois Cerullo of the soap opera General Hospital. She was Quinn Fuller's role on the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013-2022.  Childhood and early life  Sofer was born in Arcadia (California) The daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau), who works as a psychologist, as well as Martin Sofer, who is an Orthodox Rabbi.  She moved with her father and brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in the year 1970. They lived in Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years old. They lived in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father ran the Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Later, she attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high school in Paramus, New Jersey. Sofer grew up in North Bergen where her father was the rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El.
