Sofer won an Daytime Emmy Award 1995 for her performance as Lois Cerullo of the soap opera General Hospital. She was Quinn Fuller's role on the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013-2022.  Childhood and early life  Sofer was born in Arcadia (California) The daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau), who works as a psychologist, as well as Martin Sofer, who is an Orthodox Rabbi.  She moved with her father and brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in the year 1970. They lived in Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years old. They lived in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father ran the Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Later, she attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high school in Paramus, New Jersey. Sofer grew up in North Bergen where her father was the rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El.
