Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood actor and writer who has received critical recognition for her talent. Sagittarius, she was born in North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She's the third oldest siblings born in the home of Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper, and Anne a psychologist. She's English as well as Scottish. Her father was a professional who often moved her family. She struggled with making and keeping friends. When her family moved to Germany Moore went to Frankfurt American High School where she started appearing in performances. In 1983, she earned the BA in Fine Arts at Boston University. A thesis on Theater. Moore's career began in New York with Off-Broadway Theater immediately following the completion of her studies. In 1985 Moore made her screen debut in an episode of The Edge of Night. It was in 1986 that she played the dual characters of Sabrina Hughes (Frannnie) and Frannie Hughes (Sabrina Hughes). It was her biggest break. In 1988 she played an actress on the series and was awarded the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made a debut in cinema in the form of Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), as well as 3 Women, also productions by Altman (1997) included among her movies. She has made her mark in Hollywood and also as an author of children's books. In 2007 she released Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became a N.Y.T. This best-seller was turned into a movie, a series and even a musical. The year 2013 saw her release the book, My Mom is a Foreigner. Moore's private life has been disclosed as she's a popular author and actress. She was a bridesmaid to John Robin from 1984 until 1995. Moore has two children along with Bart Freundlich whom she later married in 2003. Moore's life revolves around her children, friends, and profession.
